White House Crypto Adviser Prioritizes Market Structure Bill and Stablecoin Implementation
Patrick Witt, the newly appointed White House crypto adviser, has identified the Senate's market structure legislation as his top priority. Working under David Sacks, the administration's crypto czar, Witt aims to advance sweeping U.S. crypto policies and ensure the swift implementation of the recently passed stablecoin law.
Witt succeeds Bo Hines, who played a key role in the passage of the stablecoin legislation before departing for a position at Tether. "There's no drop off here," Witt emphasized, underscoring the administration's commitment to maintaining momentum on both legislative and regulatory fronts.
The executive director of the President's Council of Advisers on Digital Assets will address these priorities at CoinDesk's Policy and Regulation event in Washington, D.C., this week. His agenda reflects the White House's broader strategy to shape the future of cryptocurrency regulation in the United States.
